Resumo

Eggsy joins a mission to tackle a global threat from Richmond Valentine (Samuel L. Jackson), a wealthy megalomaniac. The film also stars Colin Firth, Mark Strong, and Michael Caine.

Plot

During a raid in the Middle East in 1997, a probationary secret agent sacrifices himself to save his team. Feeling guilt over the loss of his colleague, Harry Hart, code-named "Galahad", delivers a bravery medal to the agent's widow, Michelle Unwin, and her young son, Gary "Eggsy", saying that if they ever need help, they should call the phone number on the back of the medal and deliver a coded message.

Seventeen years later Professor James Arnold is kidnapped by unknown assailants, led by Internet billionaire Richmond Valentine. One of Hart's fellow agents, "Lancelot", attempts to stage a rescue, but is killed by Gazelle, Valentine's henchwoman. Valentine, known for his philanthropy, continues to meet with various heads of state and VIPs, some of whom go missing afterwards. He also announces a giveaway of SIM Smart cards, granting a lifetime of free cellular and Internet access to anyone who wants it.

In London, Eggsy (Taron Egerton) is now an unemployed young adult living with his mother, infant half-sister, and abusive stepfather, Dean. Despite being intelligent and capable, he left training for the Royal Marines and lives the aimless life of a stereotypical chav. After being arrested for stealing a car, Eggsy calls the number on the back of the medal. Hart arranges for his release and tells Eggsy about his father - both of them were agents of Kingsman; an "independent international intelligence agency" founded in 1919 by a group of British royals who lost their heirs in World War One.

In the wake of Lancelot's death, the agency opens a vacancy for a new agent, and Eggsy agrees to apply as Hart's candidate. He joins a group of other candidates including a woman named Roxy, whom he befriends. Training is overseen by "Merlin", a senior Kingsman who acts as teacher, quartermaster, pilot and Ops co-ordinator. The candidates are eliminated one by one until only Eggsy and Roxy remain. Eggsy fails his final test - he is unable to shoot a dog he had raised from a puppy, though the gun was secretly loaded with blanks - and Roxy becomes the new Lancelot.

During this time, Kingsman has been investigating Valentine in connection with the VIP disappearances and notes that Arnold is no longer missing. Hart tracks down Arnold and confronts him about his abduction. A chip implanted in Arnold's head explodes, killing him; Hart is injured during his escape from unknown assailants. Undeterred, Hart poses as a billionaire and dines with Valentine to try to discern his plans.

Hart tracks Valentine to an obscure hate group church in Kentucky, where Valentine and Gazelle are conducting a test. They broadcast a signal, which triggers Valentine's SIM cards to broadcast a tone that causes everyone in the church, including Hart, to become uncontrollably violent. A mass brawl breaks out, with Hart the sole survivor, while Eggsy, Merlin and "Arthur" — Kingsman's leader — watch via video link. Valentine approaches Hart and kills him after revealing his plan.

Eggsy returns to the Kingsman headquarters, where he discovers that Arthur is one of Valentine’s converts. Arthur explains Valentine's views: humanity is akin to a virus, and global warming is the Earth's equivalent of a fever. Valentine intends to kill the virus before it kills the host, broadcasting his signal worldwide to cause a massive culling of the human race. Only a select few that Valentine has deemed worthy of living — those who have sided with him and thus received the protective microchips in their heads, and the VIPs he kidnapped — will be spared. Following their discussion, Arthur attempts to kill Eggsy but is in turn tricked and killed by him. With little time remaining, Merlin, Lancelot and Eggsy hurry to stop Valentine. Lancelot pilots a high-altitude balloon vehicle into the stratosphere to disrupt Valentine's satellite network with a missile, while Eggsy and Merlin directly assault Valentine’s mountain bunker. Lancelot knocks out the satellite, but Valentine arranges with a business contact to replace the destroyed satellite before activating the signal, causing global pandemonium.

Meanwhile, Merlin hacks into Valentine's security system and activates a security protocol in Valentine's chip implants, explosively killing everyone except Valentine and Gazelle. Eggsy fights Gazelle and kills her with a poison-tipped blade concealed in his shoe. Eggsy then hurls one of Gazelle's prosthetic legs at Valentine, spearing him through the chest and ending the worldwide carnage.

In the aftermath, Eggsy is accepted as a Kingsman agent. He reaches out to his mother, offering her and his half-sister a new home and a chance to get away from Dean. Dean and his subordinates move to attack, but Eggsy waylays Dean in exactly the same manner that Hart had waylaid one of Dean's henchmen earlier.

Sinopse

No reino do espírito chinês, Grão-Mestre Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) luta contra Kai (J. K. Simmons) e tem o seu chi roubado. Grão-Mestre Oogway adverte Kai que Po (Jack Black), o Guerreiro Dragão, vai impedi-lo.

The Film

Kung Fu Panda 3 is a 2016 3D American-Chinese computer-animated action comedy martial arts film, produced by DreamWorks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks, and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni. The film was written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, produced by Melissa Cobb, and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro. It is a sequel to the 2011 film Kung Fu Panda 2 and the third installment in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. The film features the voices of Jack Black, J. K. Simmons, Bryan Cranston, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, David Cross, James Hong, and Kate Hudson. Also Jean-Claude Van Damme and Randall Duk Kim reprise their roles as Master Croc and Oogway from the previous two films.

Plot

In the Chinese Spirit Realm, Grand Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) fights against Kai (J. K. Simmons) and has his chi stolen. Grand Master Oogway warns Kai that Po (Jack Black), the Dragon Warrior, will stop him.

Meanwhile, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) announces his retirement and passes the role of teacher to Po. He discovers that teaching kung fu is not easy, as the Furious Five members Master Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Master Crane (David Cross), Master Mantis (Seth Rogen), Master Viper (Lucy Liu), and Master Monkey (Jackie Chan) are injured as a result. Po is demoralized as a teacher, but is told by Master Shifu to be himself.

Po heads home to his adoptive father Mr. Ping (James Hong) at his noodle shop where a panda named Li Shan (Bryan Cranston) breaks Po's dumpling-eating record. They both soon learn that Li is Po's biological father and they bond with each other much to Ping's jealousy. After introducing Li to Shifu and his friends, the Valley of Peace is suddenly attacked by past Kung Fu Masters turned into jade statues under the control of Kai. The team then learn through research that Kai was Grand Master Oogway's old friend who fought with him long ago, but was banished to the spirit realm for 500 years by Grand Master Oogway when he grew thirsty for the power of chi. Kai can only be defeated by a master of true chi, which they discover was an innate ability of the panda colonies. Po, at Li's suggestion, along with Mr. Ping, travels to the secret village where the pandas hide while Shifu and the Furious Five stay behind to investigate Kai's movements and defend the Palace. Although Po is eager to learn chi, he first learns the life of a panda in the village, which he feels grateful to be a part of.

After learning that all the Kung Fu masters are missing, Master Shifu sends Master Crane and Master Mantis to find them. Master Crane and Master Mantis join with Master Bear (Fred Tatasciore), Master Croc (Jean-Claude Van Damme), and Master Chicken (Stephen Kearin) to confront Kai, but they all have their chi stolen. Kai then arrives at the Jade Palace and destroys it, taking everybody's chi except for Master Tigress's who was told by Master Shifu to find and warn Po of the upcoming danger. Afraid, Li and the pandas prepare to run away. When Po demands that his father teaches him chi, he reveals that they had all forgotten chi, and he only proposed to bring him home with him to spare him from Kai's wrath. Hurt over his father's misdirection, Po isolates himself and trains vigorously to confront Kai. Mr. Ping admits to Li that he was initially worried Po would be taken away from him, but came to realize that Li being a part of Po's life simply added to his happiness, and that they must stay by his side.

Master Tigress confronts Po and tells him that he cannot defeat Kai without continuing to discover the secret of chi, during which Po confesses that the experience has him once more doubting his potential. Li and the villagers, having decided to stay, ask Po to train them so they can fight back. Po agrees and teaches them using their everyday activities as their assets and begins their plan to save their village. Kai arrives and confronts Po, who had been waiting for him. He sends his minions to capture Po, but they are held off by the pandas and Master Tigress, distracting Kai. The plan works, but when Po grabs Kai's finger, he finds that the Wuxi Finger Hold, a technique that transports its captive to the spirit realm, doesn't work on Kai, a spirit. Kai gains the upper hand in their fight, but in a last-ditch effort, Po uses the Wuxi Finger Hold on himself while grabbing onto Kai, sending them both to the spirit realm. They fight again, but Kai defeats Po and prepares to steal his chi. Using what they learned from Po and about who they are, Li, Tigress, Mr. Ping and the pandas are able to use their chi to save him. Po, with the chi flow, suddenly generates a golden dragon-shaped avatar around him, and destroys Kai by overloading him with his chi, freeing the Kung Fu masters in the process.

In an ethereal golden pond, Grand Master Oogway appears to Po, and informs him his journey has come full circle, revealing his role by selecting Po as Dragon Warrior is also because of his descent from the ancient pandas, and his embodiment of the yin-yang. He also reveals his role in alerting Li of Po's survival, and expresses his happiness to Po about how much he has grown. By choice, Po wields a mystic green staff bestowed by Oogway to return to the mortal world. They all return to the Valley, where they continue practicing their chi, as Po proudly gazes upon his family, friends, and legacy in the spot where his journey began.
